Existence Precedes Essence
The work is situated in the space between existence and essence, shaped by the existential void created through migration—where belonging is suspended between past and present, neither fully anchored in what was nor in what is yet to come. The self, once formed through years of struggle, is cut away from the ground that once gave it meaning. Within this liminal state, becoming is embraced over resolution, occupying the shifting threshold between presence and absence. The work is manifested as a presence while resisting definition, opening a space in which a dialogue may unfold between what exists and what has yet to emerge.
