Exhibition Participation: Andy Earl — See or be Seen, TheGallery, Arts University Bournemouth (7 November 2025 – 12 February 2026)

Andy Earl — See or be Seen, curated by Violet McClean, was presented at TheGallery, AUB, showcasing four decades of Andy Earl’s influential career and the imagery that shaped the visual identity of music and popular culture. His work, celebrated for its dynamic visual storytelling and ability to capture cultural moments, offered a unique perspective that resonated with contemporary artistic practices.

During the development of the exhibition, I supported a number of curatorial and installation processes, contributing to spatial planning, artwork preparation, and the refinement of the final presentation. Working alongside the curatorial team and engaging directly with Andy Earl’s work offered me a unique perspective on the interplay between artistic vision and exhibition design. Observing how his imagery communicates narrative and presence informed both my curatorial approach and my own artistic practice. This engagement provided valuable insight into curatorial decision-making and professional exhibition production, while also deepening my understanding of how visual and spatial relationships can shape the audience’s perception, further influencing my artistic practice in immersive and site-specific installations.
